Toll exemption for electric trucks
Zero-emission trucks (CO₂ class 5, e.g. battery-electric and hydrogen trucks) are exempt from the toll until 30 June 2031. The calculator has a separate switch for them.
How Mautkompass calculates
The route is matched against the toll sections of the official toll table of the German Federal Office for Logistics and Mobility (BALM) (version 165, valid from 1 October 2026, 134,017 sections). Toll per section = section length × rate, rounded to the cent. The calculation runs on our own data and is free.
